Glorious with lyrics by David Archuleta
It’s like a symphony. Just keep listening.
And pretty soon you’ll start to figure out your part.
Everyone plays a piece in their own melody.
And each one of us, is glorious.
So I was still a missionary and they had asked through the church if I could record the song and so my mission president, while I was just out — (chuckles) working — called me and he said we have a special request from the church, we don’t want to distract you from your work but we think this is a good missionary opportunity, so I actually went and recorded the song for the film as a missionary. But, as it became bigger and bigger, they said they wanted to release it onto radio so that’s what everyone will hear now but I said, well if it’s going to be released that way I need to re-record it because when I recorded it the first time I had a Spanish accent and I couldn’t pronounce the words very (laughs) very well and I was singing hymns all the time so my voice hadn’t gotten adjusted to pop. So I went back and re-recorded it and that’s what we have now.
